Having a bag named after me was never on the list of things I hope to accomplish in life. But, friends, it should’ve been. Because it gives me a stupid amount of pleasure to show you: The Marlene.
I should perhaps mention that no-one is calling it The Marlene except me, but who cares about such a minor detail when you’ve had a bag designed for you. Do I even have to mention who the designer is? It’s Mr. James Castle, of course. I had a vague vision of what I wanted – an envelope clutch – and from that idea he designed the perfect bag.
What’s even better: The bag can be yours, too!
In gold, like mine. Or silver. Or acid green, if that’s your thing. Or even in two colours (we’ll have a special surprise for you next week…) And I won’t even insinst on it being called The Marlene outside of this post, I promise.
James handmakes the bags from Italian sheepskin or calf leather in his studio. Request a colour and order yours by sending an email to mail at jamescastle dot de.
