The other day we did the coastal walk from Bondi to Coogee. The beaches are beautiful and some of the views of the ocean from atop the cliffs are truly breathtaking. The kind of thing you never forget seeing. But at the end of the day I was left with another image in my head I just couldn’t ignore. Walking down the front at Bronte beach I saw a guy wearing bright green shorts with a faded purple t-shirt. The outfit was so simple and it yet looked perfect in the afternoon sun with the sandy beach and blue sea as backdrop.

Perhaps it’s just easier to match bright colours when the sun makes your surroundings appear that much more vivid. Or maybe it just works better when you have a tan. Whatever it is, when I found these pink shorts from The Academy Brand (of which I’ll bring you more very soon) I just had to have them.
