where it’s at

By Marlene | Published: 9. August 2012

This is my first visit to Copenhagen Fashion Week. I’ve no idea why I’ve never come before. But I am most certainly coming back. Because this is the fashion week where you enter the show tent through an open bar. Where you’re allowed to keep your alcoholic beverage while you’re enjoying the show. Where the front row is better-looking than the models on the catwalk. Where nobody much complains if the show is delayed by 45 minutes and instead comments afterwards how much they enjoyed it. Where the person sitting next to you is actually interested in having a conversation. Where invitations to a party read something like this: “We got a lot of beers and would be very happy if you came by. Please, no RSVP or anything, just come.”

And where the DJ looks like this girl Emma.

Forget coming back. I might never leave this town!

P.S. The colour co-ordination in the picture is pure coincidence. But a pretty coincidence, don’t you think?

This is the most fun I’ve had in CPH since I was a teenager. I’m getting younger by the minute. Could Danish beer be the secret to youth? If it is, I’m definitely staying.

Love the picture. Really a nice coincidence. And I can understand your love for Kopenhagen. I have been there three years ago for the first time and I loved it too.

Thank you! I have to leave Copenhagen again tomorrow. But I’ll have to come back very, very soon.
