I didn’t snap the woman in the bright orange fur coat, who was impossible to ignore in her bright orange fur coat before every show. But I did snap some of my favourite performers at Fashion Week.

These guys. I noticed both of them from about a mile away. What I didn’t notice until I got a little closer: they both prove that neither a buttoned up shirt nor a button down collar have to look conservative. At all.

Mustardy colours. Honestly. Especially: this girl in mustard, rolled-up chinos and lace-ups. I’m going to steal her idea of using leather strings as laces.

Milk maid braids. I have no idea how you do these without dislocating your shoulder. But these two definitely do.

Cocktail rings are massive. And turquoise jewellery doesn’t have to look like you own an arts and crafts gallery.

Not such small details: buying a new lens for my camera. Meeting my old friend Nino and getting a chance to try out the new lens.

Metal-rimmed glasses. Specifically: Sebastian’s metal-rimmed glasses. And his hat! Oh, that hat.

A seemingly impossible alternative to a woolly hat – until I saw this girl: a silk bandana.

Almost as important than having been there: discussing who was also there with your girlfriends.

Small shoulder bags. And gold. And beige. Best of all, small shoulder bags in beige with gold details.

Most noticable accessory: a camera.
