“Big girls need big diamonds.”
So perhaps Liz Taylor was talking about actual diamonds. But since my budget doesn’t currently allow for a visit to the jewellers, I got the next best thing: the BIG Diamond Lights bulb by Eric Therner. It’s so beautiful I don’t want to cover it with a lampshade. Instead, I’m planning to hang it next to the bed as a reading lamp. And today I finally bought a beautiful cord to hang it from. Excuse me, a beautiful cord? Yes. Because this kind of diamond needs to be presented properly. If you’re in Berlin: I found the cord at Jean et Lili on Torstraße, a great little place for decorating needs. And if you’re not in Berlin: They have on online store, too.
Damn, now I want to watch “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof”.

Ich stand SEHR lange vor dem neon-grünen Kabel, hab mich am Ende aber doch für ein schwarzes entschieden. Nicht weil ich neon zu Mädchen finde. Im Gegenteil! Aber schwarz passt besser zur Wohnung.

jajaja, sowas brauche ich auch, bitte. Verstehe ich es richtig, dass das nur eine nackte Glühbirne (wenn auch eine wunderschöne) ist? Im Webshop hängt sie an einem schwarzen Kabel, den man selbst dazukaufen muss oder wie funktioniert das?

Ich hab die Birne in einem Laden gekauft, nicht online, aber dort gab’s sie auch nur so: nackt. Fand ich allerdings gar nicht schlimm, dann kann man sich das passende Kabel und die Fassung selbst aussuchen. Ich hab beides zufällig bei Jean et Lili gefunden. Kriegt man aber bestimmt auch in einem anderen guten Deko-Laden. Liebe Grüße zurück!
