*It’s official! The line-up for Berlin Fashion Week is out. If their spring collection is anything to go by, I’m already looking forward to the Eva & Bernard presentation.

*Is it too late to add something to the Christmas wishlist? No? Good. I’ll have Mary McCartney’s “From Where I Stand” then.

*And while I’m at it, I’ll also add this dress from Acne, which makes me wish it was spring already.

*Who says you need a little party dress for New Year’s Eve? This is how I want to look for the party. For any party.

*Speaking of Phoebe Philo. The Five Perfect Pants capsule collection she designed for Céline is, well, perfect.

*Eric Wilson at the New York Times has found evidence that red carpet looks are getting bolder again. Here’s hoping for the Globes!

*The Guardian hands out the Fashion Statement Christmas Awards. I would like to nominate Gwyneth Paltrow as a late entry for the Too Much Information Award.

*”When Barbra Streisand was in town recently, she spent two hours trying on caftans and was so thrilled with her spree, she left a happy squiggle in the guest book.” André Leon Talley does Marrakech.

*Whoever believed that jeggings are an acceptable piece of clothing for men, I would like to direct to this video of fashion victim Conan O’Brien.

*And just for the headline: “Are Babies the New Cats?”
