We moved a week ago. I’ve been looking for the notification forms for our change of address ever since. I did not, however, have to search for the scented candles. The one from Atelier Oblique even travelled with me in the car because I didn’t want to damage the bag it came in.

I wore a hat for my date with Maryam. I usually only wear hats for practical reasons like protection against heat or cold. There was no reason for a hat on that particular day, except that I hoped it would delight Maryam.

My book comes out today.
When I was about halfway done, but had one of those days when I felt at my wit’s end, the editor from the publishing house called. „We’re printing the cover in three different colours. Also, we’re trying to embroider the title on each book. If we can get it to work, it’s going to be amazing.“
