*”Have you seen the new Zara lookbook yet?” Okka emailed me a couple of days ago. Oh yes! I instantly fell in love with Look 2. And most of the other pieces with flower prints. Perhaps because they look so unabashedly romantic. Perhaps because I also fell in love with this picture from the Sartorialist this week. And because they remind me of the moment I took Peony Lim’s picture in Paris (that’s the pic above, obviously). Her amazing jacket is from Stella McCartney. And, yes, her name really is Peony.
*Another flower girl with an amazing name: Lottie Moss. She cast petals at her big sister Kate’s wedding only a few monts ago, now she’s got her own modelling contract, and she’s only 13 (13!). And so, so pretty.
*Trying on clothes without actually trying on clothes. Sensational idea. Or sensationally silly. I’m still undecided.
*I could spend the next months with two warm water bottles strapped to my feet to prevent freezing to death at night. Or I could buy this pajama from J.Crew. Then I could also start drinking Martinis in bed…
*”I didn’t see it as someone who worked as hard as I did. But now that Saint Laurent is part of history, it makes me a part of history, so, yes, finally it’s not such a bad thing to have been a muse.” The great Loulou de la Falaise passed away last week. Veronica Horwell remembers her.
*James designed two new clutch bags this week, one in chocolate brown, one in black, both for Lis. She wrote about that particular joy here. And Tine wrote about the clutch in gold here. We’re blushing with pride!
*And I bought myself a pair of flared corduroy trousers in burgundy this week. That’s right: flared corduroy trousers in burgundy. You can read about why that was absolutely necessary on Monday in the new weekly style column I’m writing for Slomo. The first episode is here. (In German)
*Also: go watch the video for Duran Duran’s “Girl Panic”. NOW. You’re welcome.
Happy weekend!

Although if it had been a copy, it would’ve been a very good one…
