a week in fashion #57

*This is the TOR lipstick from Uslu Airlines – developed by 11 straight guys wanting to find the perfect lipstick colour for women. Which, first of all, is pretty sweet of them to try. Secondly: they succeeded. That colour really is perfect. I love wearing it. James likes seeing it. Thanks, guys!

*I adore Gucci Westman’s apartment on T magazine‘s “Profile in Style”. I also wouldn’t mind her top to toe Céline look.

*”The lady makes Joan Collins look like a backpacker.” Jess Cartner-Morley on Victoria Beckham in the Guardian. Love.

*If there’s a better picture of Anna Wintour out there, I don’t even want to know about it: A brief history of the front row on Nymag.

*”The I-got-drunk-at-a-Caribbean-party corsage.” Of course, no analysis into how we talk about fashion would be complete without the indispensable wisdoms of Michael Kors.

*New York! No, Paris. No, New York. Or maybe Paris? All I know is that I want the “Paris versus New York” book of illustrations.

*Have you seen this? HAVE YOU SEEN THIS? I must’ve watched this video a dozen times last week and it just keeps getting better: Emmanuelle Alt and Mademoiselle Agnès lipsynching to Wham’s “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go”. It’s two parts ridiculous, one part fabulous and altogether the best thing you can watch when you need a pick-me-up. Oh, and the newly launched Paris Vogue‘s website, which the video was made to promote, looks pretty great too. I might have to watch that video again now…

Have a great weekend!

– No. Tatsächlich perfekte Farbe, hats off, guys und Danke, Marlene. Hope you’re well!

Hello! Wie schön von dir zu hören. Und wie schön, dass dir Tor auch gefällt. Erstaunlich, diese Kerle!
