When I opened my wardrobe this morning, this is the outfit I wanted to find in it.
Sure, almost everything I have is either black, white or grey anyway. What I don’t have is a pair of bermuda shorts. They’re what make Julia’s outfit for me. Imagine it with a skirt for a second. It would still work. It just wouldn’t be as good. In fact, I’m starting to think that bermudas are possibly the better skirt (shorts are the new skirts! – this is what I talk like after fashion week). They need to be cut wide though. And be paired with heels, unless you’re tall, which I’m not. Pretty much exactly like this look and this look from the altogether phenomenal Chloé Resort collection. And, of course, like Julia is wearing them here. She found her bermudas at Weekday, so maybe that’s where I’m headed this weekend…
Oh, and forgive me for the post’s title. But it’s Friday. Time for some Beach Boys (the outfits! the outfits!)

Normalerweise kommentiere ich gar nicht und jetzt schon das 2. Mal in 2 Tagen. Herrjeh!
Nur schreibst Du heute ausgerechnet über ein Thema, das mich schon die ganze Woche beschäftigt hat: Shorts bzw. Bermudas! Letzte Woche habe ich von meinem Papa (!) eine ihm zu enge Bermuda geerbt und dachte erst die sei nur so für zu Hause geeignet. Habe sie dann mit T-Shirt, Blazer, Schmuck und hohen Schuhen gestylt und befand das Ganze für schicker als gedacht und SEHR praktisch für warme Tage. Deshalb hab ich mich also auf die Suche nach einem weiteren Model gemacht und das war -zumindest in den “gängigen” Frauenabteilungen- echt aussichtslos. Alles total kurz und/oder eng. Nix was der Großteil der Bevölkerung tragen sollte und schon gar nicht für´s Büro geeignet!
Und so bin ich in meiner Verzweiflung in der Herrenabteilung gelandet und habe -tadaaaa- 3 Brax Bermudas (glaube, das ist normalerweise für den Herrn ab 50 aufwärts!) eingetütet und bin damit total glücklich und zufrieden, weil 1) bequem, 2) luftig und 3) angezogen!
Insofern passt Dein Post heute wie die Faust auf´s Auge! 😉

Isabel, zu viel kommentieren – geht gar nicht! Großartig, dass Du Deinem Vater die Shorts entwendet hast. Ich glaube, mein Papa fragt sich auch, wo bloß seine alten Arbeitsjeans abgeblieben sind… Ich bin bisher nicht dazu gekommen, nach Bermudas zu fahnden. Aber: Brax, Riesentipp, Danke!
