James: "So, I designed a new bag today."
Me: "Ooohhhh, what does it look like?"
James: "You'll just have to wait and see."
Me: "Can't you send me a picture?"
James: "I'll show it to you in two weeks, when you come home."
Me: "But that's two whole weeks!"
James: "It'll be worth the wait. It looks great though..."
Me: "Not even one tiny little picture? [...]
*I go away for a month and what happens? James designs a whole bunch of new handbags (did I ask to see the bags before I even said hello to James when I came home? No! Well, maybe). We've been busy taking pictures of them the past few of days. Here's a little preview of his latest design. It's a tote. It's black. It's amazing. And that's only half of it. [...]
I was buying black leather for a new bag design (can't wait to show you soon...), but when I saw this incredible pink, I decided it would be perfect for a new Marlene clutch. Maybe it's the sun coming out for the first time this year, but everyone seems to be into bright colours at the moment. And, wow, is this pink bright!

No other fabric catches the imagination quite as much as Harris Tweed. The material, so steeped in history, is still hand woven in the Outer Hebrides.
