I was buying black leather for a new bag design (can’t wait to show you soon…), but when I saw this incredible pink, I decided it would be perfect for a new Marlene clutch. Maybe it’s the sun coming out for the first time this year, but everyone seems to be into bright colours at the moment. And, wow, is this pink bright!
Yesterday was a great day for making the bag. I had the windows wide open, the sun was shining on my back, there were some summery tunes on the radio and I couldn’t help smiling as I made this hot pink clutch. It’s inspired me to try the clutch design in a few other neon colours. Which is your favourite? Pink? Yellow? Green? Orange? I think I’ll do it in neon yellow next…

Nooo this reminds me of the endless summer days I spent in a beautifully sunlit loft in Berlin. And roaming the streets, and long nights and waking up in the afternoon. And all the stunning clothing and lovely people…I miss it!
