I made this jacket a while back, only I never got the chance to show it off. The cut is quite 60s, slim and short with narrow lapels. I've used quite a complicated check pattern but all the colours are of a similar tone so it's (perhaps surprisingly) versatile. It works really well with a checked shirt and tie. Something else I like apart from red and orange: Pink. Proper blinding pink. It's a colour I would have normally shied away from. Too crass. Too flashy. Too Barbie. Until I saw a roll of cotton in this colour lying around in a fabric store last year, gave in to my inner girl and just bought it.
