I might've gone to Paris for the fashion, but I'm definitely going back for the food. There was the tarte tatin at Ladurée that was so delicious I let myself take half an hour to eat it, because I didn't want it to be finished. The traditionnelle from the bakery across the street that our host suggested was the best in the neighborhood and she was right. [...] 
28 kilos - that's how much the scales read when I checked my luggage at the airport yesterday. My suitcase had curiously gained eight kilos in Paris. The summery temperatures, the beautiful crowd in the Marais, the perfect shopping companion and just the city itself all made it far too easy to whip out my credit card. Here are some of the shops that I blame [...] 
Last night my friend Ines took me out for a great good-bye dinner in the Marais. I was running late and she sent me a text: "I'm waiting at the bar. Don't break your ankles hobbling here!"
I'm not quite sure how I managed to wear heels for much of the week - but if these ladies on their way to the shows in the Tuileries could do it, so could I! Still, [...]
