I thought I had packed every bit of clothing I could possibly need when we left for Australia. Then we arrived and I quickly realized that what I really needed were denim shorts. More precisely, white denim cut-offs. I couldn’t quite believe myself when I bought these, because I would’ve walked straight past them at home. But here, the denim short is basically part of the national dress. And although I still feel like a bit of a fraud when I wear them, I still put them on and pretend I’m one of the locals.
To really fit in I’ll have to get a sun visor and a muscle shirt next…

lässig am strand. sieht super aus, grad mit dem hemd. über das sonnenvisier kannst du ja nochmal eine nacht schlafen …. wobei: kleines visier von der sorte farbverlauf (blau-lila), dazu rollschuhe, so in weiß mit pinken rädern? na? jut jut, schluss jetzt: weiterhin eine wunderbare zeit euch, und genießt sommer sonne sonnenschein im land down under!

Es ist dann doch bei der Shorts geblieben. Obwohl: neue Flipflops sind dazugekommen, quasi auch Nationaltracht in Australien. Und diverse andere Kleidungsstücke. Es war schließlich SALE…
