When it comes to shoes, men can't compete. It's hard to imagine me wearing a pair of shoes as bold as Marlene's Prada pumps without feeling I would look like a clown (I'm talking about the pattern only, not the heels. One of my great pleasures is reading Alexis Petridis' fashion column in the Guardian with my Saturday morning coffee, but I couldn't agree with his "A right royal revolt" piece from a couple of weeks back. I didn't snap the woman in the bright orange fur coat, who was impossible to ignore in her bright orange fur coat before every show. But I did snap some of my favourite performers at Fashion Week. I have known Aaron for more than ten years. I cannot remember ever seeing him in anything that looked bad. In fact, it's the opposite. Every time I see him, I think how much easier it is for men to be well-dressed. (more…)

oliver’s shirt

When Oliver asked me to design a shirt for him, I wanted to do something a little graphic. I found this great fabric and decided to play a little with the stripe. People say it looks like an architect's shirt, which makes me happy. (more…)
