motivation

Resolution for the weekend next week sometime soon: Clean up my wardrobe. I mean: clean out. I’ve lost track of its contents a little bit lately, which means that I’ve been wearing a lot of the same clothes every day and I’m starting to get bored with myself. Plus, after interviewing a professional declutterer today (“Try on every piece in your wardrobe and honestly ask yourself, if you still wear it. If you’re unsure, put it away for a few weeks. Do you miss it? No? Then clear it out.” Good tip. However: some of this woman’s clients own up to 400 Louboutins. FOUR HUNDRED. Do they notice, if ten pairs are missing? No? Then I’d gladly offer to pick up their shoes…), I decided to get my clothes in order and take everything dispensable to the flea market.

My motivation: make room for a leather biker jacket. One pretty much exactly like this one that I spotted in Paris last year. I would definitely wear a jacket like that! I also wouldn’t mind the “Rita” leather jacket from Acne. Or, sigh, the beautiful Nova from Rika. I’d take this fresh model from the Carven resort collection, too. The only thing that would improve these jackets is, if they were on sale. Because with prices like that, I might have to go to the flea market three times first.

Have a good weekend!
