*A late edition of a week in fashion this week, as we’ve been busy attending Christmas parties! It has given Marlene plenty of chance to show off the gold clutch, which, I’m very excited to report, was also featured in ZEITMagazin this week.
*I could hear Marlene laughing in the other room this week. The reason, it turns out, was she discovered Mr. Blasberg’s hilarious new blog. Sample bit of wisdom: “Never trust a fake. Be it a handbag, or a friend.”
*I was laughing myself when I saw the Harvey Nichols Christmas ad.

*“Doodling is a gateway to illustration”. These ads for a Detroit art school parodying anti-drug campaignes are genius.
*And finally, fashion’s go-to-guy for bonkers comments, Karl Lagerfeld, launched Chanel’s Paris-Bombay collection with this gem. “It’s much more inspiring not to go to places than to go”.
